The IAMC is pleased to announce that the Scientific Steering Committee has formally established a new Scientific Working Group on Health and Human Wellbeing.
With the growing importance of the health and climate interface in the international and national policy arena, there is a rising demand for robust, policy-relevant projections of health risks under climate and development pathways. The IAMC Scientific Working Group (SWG) on Human health and wellbeing brings together integrated assessment modelers, global health researchers, climate impact modellers, economists, policy experts, to advance health-climate science as a high-priority area for the IAMC community.
