We are pleased to announce the firstjoint REMIND-MAgPIE workshop that will take place from Jun 16th to Jun 19th 2026 as a hybrid event allowing virtual as well as physical participation. The venue is the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK).

The combined REMIND-MAgPIE workshop will give you the opportunity to get to know the REMIND and MAgPIE models as well as the coupled framework and also the teams behind it. Sessions will address different areas of interest (e.g. REMIND, MAgPIE or coupled system) and levels of experience (e.g. using model output, developing one of the models) and participants are encouraged to select sessions based on their own preference. Shortly before the workshop, there will be an online event where we will help you install the necessary tools.

The workshop also includes REMIND & MAgPIE stories sessions, to which model developers and users from around the world are invited to present their own work and experiences with the models. We encourage everyone to submit their current work, plans, challenges, or success stories related to the models. A call for contributions will be published soon.

The registration is open until May 31st (or earlier if all tickets are taken earlier).
