ICOS Science Conference 2022

The 5th ICOS Science Conference will be organised in Utrecht (TivoliVredenburg event venue) and online around the world. The conference will run from Tuesday 13th to Thursday 15th of September, 2022. The overall, overarching theme of the conference is “Tracking progress to carbon neutrality”.

Among the session themes, sub-topics include:
– Informing transformative change towards a sustainable future using integrated environmental research infrastructures
– Advances in nature-based negative emission technologies
– Enhancing the use of greenhouse gas observation systems to inform, enable and frame policy
– Emission modelling and atmospheric monitoring of anthropogenic carbon emissions
– Towards operational monitoring of greenhouse gas emissions – the combination of satellite and in-situ data in an integrated system approach.

The abstract submission for the Science Conference is open until 11am CEST 11th April, 2022
