IAMC Scientific Steering Committee meeting of 15th May 2023 – Synthesis

The last meeting of the IAMC Scientific Steering Committee meeting (SSC) took place on May 15th, 2023. The preparations for IAMC 2023 continued: a final discussion on the topics for the call for abstracts for IAMC 2023 and an initial discussion on the platform to be used for the meeting were held. Preliminary information on the preparations for IAMC 2024 was shared. It was discussed whether some of the internal rules governing the operation of the SWGs should be revised. Work on preparing a IAMC website page that gives an introduction and overview of integrated assessment modeling has begun.
