The IAMC Consortium aims at gathering key referents on Integrated Assessment Modeling from all the world, and is proud to welcome three new Members.

KTH-dES research is based on a broad system perspective, where energy technology, innovation, and policy are linked to sustainable development. The Division develops quantitative models for optimizing energy systems and develop the basis for strategic decisions on investments, as well as policy. KTH-dES carry out qualitative analyses regarding the impact of policies on the transition to a sustainable society. Also, synergies and trade-offs between the many targets of the 2030 Agenda’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals are carefully analyzed. Research perspective is global, like the collaborations with many countries and world organizations, some of which are IEA, UNDESA, UNESCAP, FAO, World Bank and SIDA.

EPU-NTUA is a multidisciplinary scientific unit which carries out research and development activities providing management and decision support services on a wide range of complex business, societal and technical problems.The R&D services of EPU-NTUA are applied not only on research challenges but also on real life problems in industry, energy, trade, business, education, telecommunication, tourism, health and public administration.EPU-NTUA collaborates regularly in R&D and technical assistance projects with several major Greek, European and international organisations. It is involved in major EU programmes as well as in national programmes funded by Greek Ministries (National Economy, Industry, Energy and Technology, Environment and Urban Planning), Energy Organisations (electricity, oil and gas sectors), regional and national authorities, and other public and private organisations.
MaREI, SFI Research Centre for Energy, Climate and Marine – Environmental Research Institute, University College Cork, Ireland
MaREI is the world-leading Science Foundation Ireland Research Centre for Energy, Climate and Marine, coordinated by the Environmental Research Institute (ERI) at University College Cork. MaREI has over 200 researchers across 13 partner institutes in Ireland working with 75 industry partners focussing on the energy transition, climate action and the blue economy. MaREI delivers excellent research with societal impact by supporting industry, informing policy and empowering society.MaREI’s research capabilities cover a wide range of cross-cutting topics in marine renewable energy technologies, materials and structures, observation and operations, coastal and marine systems, bioenergy, energy policy and modelling, and energy management. MaREI researchers work with collaborators in more than 36 countries and this research increasingly underpins energy and climate policies of the Irish Government and the European Union. Through engaged research and dialogue with stakeholders and communities, MaREI also supports the human and societal dimensions of climate action and marine conservation.
