Call for tenders on IAM pathways by the German Environment Agency (Umweltbundesamt – UBA)

The “NEna_Klims” project aims to identify, prioritize and help closing research gaps in Integrated Assessment Models (IAMs) of climate change in order to scientifically substantiate the negotiating position of Germany and the EU within the framework of the political IPCC processes, the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change and the Paris Agreement. To this end, an analysis of existing IAM pathways will first be carried out and, based on this, a prioritization of knowledge gaps relevant to the above-mentioned negotiation processes will be undertaken. The most important knowledge gaps will then be closed by calculating corresponding pathways using an IAM.
Please be aware that tenders need to be in German.

Deadline: 26. June 2026
