New community documentation portal released

The Model Documentation and Transparency working group has released a rebuilt version of the community documentation portal. Model descriptions now follow a common structure — scope, sectoral and regional resolution, solution method, treatment of technical change, and the assumptions behind key input data — which makes it possible to compare two models side by side without reading two long PDFs.

Every model documented in the portal is versioned, so a paper can cite the exact description of the model as it stood when the work was done. Teams that have not yet migrated their documentation are asked to do so before the Annual Meeting.
