The Energy-SHIFTS project aims to support the contribution of Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) to energy policy. The project is led by the Global Sustainability Institute, Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge. In 2020 Energy-SHIFTS published four Horizon Scan Reports listing a total of 400 priority questions for energy SSH. These reports cover four topic areas: Renewables; Smart consumption; Energy efficiency; and Transport and mobility. The ECRs whose research addressesone or more of these 400 priority questions were invited to submit an application to the Energy SSH Innovation Awards.
Cristina Peñasco, who is involved in the INNOPATHS Project, received the Award on Innovative policy and/or practice engagement. In this video she summarizes the features of the Decarbonisation Policy Evaluation Tool (DPET) developed within the INNOPATHS team.
